Setting the Wards: The Lower Cathedral

This is the fifth quest in The Catacombs series of quests. It's a pretty simple quest without any hard encounters. The objectives is to cleanse the 3 altars to unlock the center altar. Which means to click on the 3 altars to the west, north, and east so you can touch the center one.

You begin at the Entrance (marker #1) and you immediately notice you are at a shrine with a white aura around it. This is the only shrine in the zone, and the white aura will supposedly keep out any undead. After enjoying the pretty colors, move north allowing your rogue to disable the cold traps on either side, then head to the west to the Altar of the Winged Serpent (marker #2). Play with a bunch of switches on the way west toward the altar, and finally reach the altar and activate it. Start moving to the north wing toward the Alter of the Conflagration (marker #3).

After disabling the traps to the north, activate that altar and head back down and east to the Altar of the Avenging Maiden (marker #4). More traps, and when you activate the final altar, head back to the center to the Main Altar (marker #5).

Kill the weak monsters here and activate the Main Altar. The altar will turn into an entrance to the next quest in the Catacomb series (Patriarch's Crypt). Go and rest up at the shrine (hopefully you haven't had to use it yet) and enter the next zone through the Main Altar.

You do not recieve any reward for this section of the quest until you finish the following quest, Setting the Wards: Patriarch's Crypt.
