This is the first part of the fifth quest in the series known as Tangleroot. In this quest, you are to acquire the Stronghold Key so that you can open the door to the Inner Splinterskull Fortress. As an optional objective, you are to kill the five Avengers that are placed in your way. It's a decently easy quest, but all you soloers out there take note that there are plenty of hobgoblin clerics in the way.
You start at the Entrance again (marker #1). Fight your way to the South Avenger (marker #2) and kill him. Keep going to the Middle Avenger (marker #3) and kill him too, and go through the door to the north to the North Avengers (marker #4) and kill the two Avengers in this room.
Go west and up to the Stronghold Key area (marker #5) and you will find the key inside a chest. Head back to the Avenger Guard (marker #6) and kill him to finish off all 5 Avengers. Unlock the door with the key and go north to zone into the Inner Splinterskull Fortress to continue to the second part of this quest. Do not finish out or recall unless you have someone staying in the zone to prevent it from reseting since the only way to get to the Inner Splinterskull Fortress is to go through this quest, and if you have finished it you cannot redo it without starting the whole Tangleroot series over again.
