Venn's Trail: Venn's Fate

This is the final instance and quest for the Waterworks storyline.

Upon entering the zone (marker #1), you will notice that the whole zone has gates and valves to open them on every wall. Inside these cells are either barrels, mushrooms, one of the five prisoners to free, or the corpse of Venn. Important thing to note, the location of the prisoners and Venn are random and may be in any of the cells. Because of the large number of cells, I would suggest opening every single one until you have found all the prisoners and Venn. This way you can tell which way you have already searched. There are several named monsters that may be spawned around the zone, so lets start by going around the zone in a counter-clockwise rotation. Head to the Swingblade Trap room (marker #2).

You will not see the enormous blade that will swing around the center pillar in the room, but you will likely sense the trap. If your rogue cannot disable the trap, hug the northeast corner of the room when you run to the north door. After killing the possible named, head back out and south towards another possible named at the Ogre Switch (marker #3). I should point out that all the possible named are named ogres and can possibly kill a level 1 or 2 in one or two hits.

Another possible named ogre at marker #3, and after you dispatch him if you wish, head to the Scorpion Room (marker #4) for more loot. In the Scorpion Room, you will find a Terrified Prisoner and after talking to him, many scorpions will spawn in the room. After dispatching the scorpions, head to the Clan Tunnelworm Grand Shaman's room (marker #5).

Yet another named, the Grand Shaman isn't a hard kill. After you have killed him and collected his chest loot, you will need to head to the Clan Tunnelworm Interrogator's Room (marker #6).

By the time you reach this room, you need to have found Venn's body and searched it. If not, keeping searching around until you do find it. Then kill the interrogator to "avenge" Venn's death, and Finish out to the Waterworks.

Once you are in the Waterworks, head back to Guard Tember to finish the entire quest series and recieve some very nice loot. The loot is always the same and the Waterworks quest is repeatable by Abandoning the quest and restarting it with Guard Tember, so you can redo the series if you want another piece of loot from the quest.
