For Dungeons and Dragons Online, Turbine warned us that the Buy Back feature has been temporarily disabled and will be unavailable beginning on Thursday, November 13th at 6:00 PM EST (-5 GMT). Until it returns, be extra careful when selling your items, because you will be unable to use Buy Back if you sell something by mistake!

When Tolkien, the father of modern fantasy, wrote "The road goes ever ever on," MMOs took him at his word. A large part of online gaming consists of traveling from one point to another, but when it takes so much time to get anywhere, frustration mounts. If I'm picking up a book or alt-tabbing to web surf or check e-mail instead of playing the game, there is something wrong with the dynamics.

Turbine announced the next winner in their DirectX 10 Screenshot contest for Dungeons and Dragons Online today - Stormanne. "We have another beautiful shot of the harbor here, though from a different angle. Looks like a nice day in Stormreach, if you ignore those pesky Waterworks invaders nearby."

They're still accepting entries, and the cutoff for the next week is this coming Monday.
